How does the process of engraving your wedding bands work?
At The Love Diamond boutique, the engraving will be done by our experienced artisans using a laser engraving machine. With this machine, the possibilities are almost endless, as we can engrave almost anything on your ring - even images or your own signature. All we need is the image in the right file format.
The basic engraving process consists of just a few steps:
Once you have selected your perfect wedding bands, make a request to get them engraved.
Choose a font or style of lettering from our available list of fonts.
Write down what you would like engraved. Be sure to double-check the spelling before you share it with your Personal Jeweller.
Your engraved wedding bands will be ready for collection within 14 working days.
Upon receiving the bands, check the engravings to make sure they are correct.
What can you engrave on your wedding bands?
Romantic languages
Consider engraving a foreign word or phrase. The most popular options languages are, French and Italian because they are the most common romantic languages known to many. How about “Senza Fine” which means, "Never Ending" in Italian?
Important dates
This is a popular choice for couples because it is not only simple and easy to fit one the wedding bands, it can also serve as a reminder of your anniversary date. Perhaps there are other dates you find more significant to your love story, for example, the day you both said “I love you” for the first time, the day you met or the day you got engaged.
